So can you just hear the intake and turbo whistle, or does the exhaust note increase as well?
Using the catless downpipe and mid-pipe along with the stock cat back exhaust keeps the exhaust note very quiet except you can hear the turbo. Its exactly what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed!

I'm thinking about order an O2 housing tomorrow. Question though: What is an O2 bung for wideband? It's a ten dollar option. Is it necessary?

No... that is to add a wideband O2 sensor for tuning and data logging the vehicle.

Just got mine today! Has any one heat wrapped their down pipe? Where is power gained; bottom, mid, or top end?

I used header wrap on my downpipe, thought about wrapping the mid pipe too but decided it wouldn't benefit as much as the DP. Gains should be had over the entire rpm range.

Has anyone installed these without a tune? I have a an 02 housing and midpipe awaiting installation, but I'm reluctant to get a tune while my car is still under warranty.

I just installed my o2 and I am not tuned. I can definitely feel a difference, yet hear little difference. Check engine light just came on. . . I am told it is because the ecu detects no catylitic converter. I'm thinking about asking Zzp directly

The main problem isn't the cel, its the fact the stock tune uses torque management to limit peak torque so you won't see any peak power gains from any bolt ons without a tune.
