Not only does it allow for my small trailer (yard work) and bike rack. It's a great recovery hitch in the winter if needed, eh?!

Need something. Traded my 4x4 truck.

Edit: Used the Curt wiring adapter too. Crazy simple. The hook in the trunk makes a great place to keep it.

    Hitch on my 2012 RS

I added the hitch to my RS. I had to make up 4 spacers to drop the hitch down a bit to clear the bottom of the bumper.
Shown is with 1/4" spacers... Since the photos I added another 3/8" to drop it just a little more... Don't want any part
of the receiver touching the bumper....

My purpose is for my hitch mounted bike rack (hate the trunk ones, blocks all access when its loaded)....
And to move my small 4ft utility trailer for dump runs, etc.....

Ya ya, i know, go get a truck..... (Got one)... Just dont like driving it all the time with the cost of gas today..... =) I like my options open

    Here's some pictures.....

Hmm, looks like you have another brand hitch and not the Curt. It seems that the Curt model doesn't have this problem from what I've heard.

I hear you, I like to have my options open too. Two service holes underneath ftw, right?
