How far are you traveling for Thanskgiving?

About 10 miles round trip to generous folks who open their homes to orphans like me. I'm bringing the veggies, dip and nuts. And a REALLY good appetite. I hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving.

Hey you too! Happy Turkey Day! My wife and I are traveling 60 miles south of where we live to Brooklyn,NY to her very Italian parents house. My wife and I are going down there for the usual 9 course meal where we will eat way too much and pass out later! It's probably about 120 miles round trip. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and your families!

I'm also one who will just go downstairs. Unfortunately I have to work Friday, but I'm not in retail. I'm still trying to figure out why we're open when the rest of automotive isn't. But I hear that the other girl who will be there that day is just planning to decorate the office for Christmas, so I guess it won't be too bad of a day.

I will be traveling a few miles down the road to work as I'm scheduled tues-fri. I work at the Target Distribution Center and though it sucks having to miss thanksgiving with my wife and her family, my paycheck with be pretty nice! I too feel sorry for those working retail who have to work Thurs night (might as well call it black thursday now) just so people can trample each other for the newest gadget on the day we are supposed to be giving thanks for what we already have.

1200 miles so far on the trip to Indy and driving around to all the relatives houses , will be driving back Friday. Going another 980 or so back.
