    fuel tank size (2011 LT1)

What is the actual fuel tank size? I read it was 15.4 but on my cars' computer it says I have used 10.1 Gallons (manually reset at last fill up). When I look at my onstar app it says I have 3 gallons left and a 24% tank level. Thats only a total of 13.1. Is the entire tank 15.4 leaving 2.3 gallons for reserve?

I guess you'll have to learn from trail and error. Each car will probably be a little different because how float sensor is set. With my trailblazer I had a 25 gal tank. Every time the light came on and went to fill up I probably had between 2- 3.5 gals left. I know this from driving it over 112,000 and getting a feel for it

Generally, the light comes on when your calculated fuel range hits 50 miles left. The most I have put into the Cruze was 13.1 gallons and I was probably about 10-15 miles after the light came on. I would assume there is probably 2 gallons of buffer there just to keep you from running your pump dry. They hate that!

    The Eco Automatic has 15.6

i figured out today after filling up until i hear the Click....and then trying to put a few more clicks in..
that it only goes up to 94-95%... 14-15gallons. but the gauge will show that its on top of the Full line.
its not going to ever be 100%.

Keep in mind the fuel pump is cooled by the gas (sounds strange to some, but it has been this way for years) so by running it low on fuel may cause the fuel pump to over heat and be damaged.
