It holds 12.3 at full throttle highest I ever saw was 11.9 before then would drop to 10 then 8.2... That doesn't happen anymore

The oem is the cheapest bypass I've ever seen

    See below
    Attachment 8836

    It physically just came apart

For the install tools I used.

Flat head screwdriver for intake piping
T20 torx screwdriver for vacuum valve
T30 torx screwdriver for bottom bolt and far side bolt (the back bolt cannot be tightened with the torx bit due to housing clearence)
    1/4 drive ratchet with extensions
    T20/t30 torx bits
90" long end pliers for vacuum lines
Extendable magnet ( I have big hands and from working on cars for a while my fingers also lock up so for those hard bolts to reach this helps hugely)

Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App
Now I definitely need this!!! So I can boost 25lbs and hold it, my car should be a pinch faster by holding all the boost it builds.

After seeing it apart I wouldn't want high boost with it. A 3 cent spring and a plunger I wouldn't install on anything. If it costs 25 cents to produce this part I would say its overpriced

Ok here is my big question. What do you do if you need to take the car into the dealer and you need to tune back to stock? Will the BOV still work with a stock tune and no ECP enabled? Or do you have to pull it out and reinstall the stock one. That will suck!!

The atmo valve would have to be uninstalled to flash back to stock but the recirc valve would be fine on the stock tune

In Australia the stock recirc valve is $335.50AUD. So this mod is great value for money if your standard unit fails.

I took my time with it. Used silicone spray on all fittings and removed extra and it took about a half hour at most. It wouldn't be bad. Doing it again knowing the right tools it would take about 15 minutes. I would much rather swap this over compared to a downpipe for warranty work

On another note the bpv is a bit louder after a day of driving

    well that not to bad.
    15 mins for BOV
10 for Tune back to stock
25 mins back to stock cats
20 mins back to stock intake.
    that's the price you pay.
just hope the stock bpv dont brake like some of the other guys said had happen when it came apart. not spending $355 for a new one
