No, but I know for a fact that these things have way too much timing in stock form. After logging with HPtuners I'm running nothing but 91 octane minimum.
Thanks just what i was wondering. If thats the case it would have to be able to make more power with higher octane fuel ! Just how much i would like to know

Never used anything but 93 octane. Drives like a dream with it.

well i know for sure GM could never have successfully marketed that power train with out saying it would run on 87 octane
It does run on 87 octane, just not as well as it does on 91 or 93 octane, especially in the summer heat.

Has anyone used ethanol free 90 octane fuel ? It should do better than pump gas with 10% ethanol as you lose some power and mileage with the ethanol fuel.
