    oil catch can for 1.8L engine cruze

    Can anyone please help me onhow to install a oil catch can, im confused to the hoses, can anyone send some pic, it is very big help,,, many thanks

    You usually don't need one on a NA engine but if you do, one hose goes to the PCV valve on the valve cover, the other hose out of the catch can goes to the intake. It's just to keep liquid oil from being blown into the intake. I haven't looked at the PCV valve on this engine yet so I couldn't tell you where it's at exactly. Usually on top on a 4 cylinder.

    You usually don't, but it can make a difference in every engine.

    You would be better off asking in the 1.4L section instead of here where very few members that are technically knowledgeable about the 1.4L come.
