Haha, actually ya I did see an increase in fuel economy. On my 23 mile drive to work mostly highway before the intake I could only manage 38mpg on a fresh tank of fuel. Every single tank after I installed the K&N intake I can average anywhere from 41-43mpg on the same exact drive. Other than max fuel economy it really helps with throttle response. With the manual trans the rpms jump a lot faster when you hit the gas which helps city driving a lot. And also in 6th gear I can accelerate without having to downshift, where before to accelerate I would have to downshift to get anywhere. This is with the manual also FYI.

Hey Eco JAY, I'm so sorry, I use the Autoguide app on my phone and for some reason it doesn't give me an option to look at visitor messages so I didn't know you messaged me. It might be late now, but I do have the 1.4L. And you can very clearly hear the turbo spool and the blow off valve. You can hear it with the windows up through the vent a bit, and then even more when you roll the windows down. I love the sound and never get sick of it, but you can always turn the music up if you don't want to hear it. Overall I am very very happy with it and it would be one of my first mods if I had to do it again.
