H13 male and female conn.jpgThese are the male and female H13 plugs. The BLACK plug from your pic looks like the one on the left, which would be male (it has the pins) and the connector on the right is the female (it has sockets).
Like I aid before with my harness, it was a VERY tight fit. it looks like you have the right connector for the green plug in your car. The tab on top of the male plug should go into the raised side of the female plug.
These are pretty unique connectors and they don't really look like any other types (9007/H4 9005, 9006 etc). Try it and make sure the pins are lined up with the sockets or you could bend the pins and be screwed.
Alright so I think I got it..... these go together then:
?
Might splice and solder them in, or make my own harness with something like those pigtails if I can...

'98 BMW 328i - DINAN tuned - sold
That is right! I'm not sure what you need to splice or solder with that harness?
Here is a very helpful guide on how the kit should go in:

Your bulbs and ballasts may be different but this is the same procedure for this install. If you still have lighting issues with DRL's or low/high beam, that will be a different story and would probably be your harness but that's cross that bridge when you get there lol.
Hope this helps!
