New to the forum, new to GM.

Hi!
My real name is Ivan, I live in sunny Caracas, Venezuela and yes Chavez fkt up my life! LOL
After a long list of european compacts, the latest a Renault Clio, I'm ready to move to something bigger.
Since the choice of cars is close to null I decided that a Cruze would fit me since it meets almost all the criteria, it is "reasonably" well priced and should I ever need parts it is easier for me to get the parts in the US (I travel there a lot) than Europe.
I'm still reading about the car and about this forum netiquette so feel free to critize me if I ever break the rules.

PS. Yes I can fill up my car with 95 RON and it sets me back about $0,70 per tank. I'd rather pay $50 and live elsewhere.

Welcome to CruzeTalk and congrats on your Cruze. I think you're the first member from Venezuela. Can you post some pictures and specs on your car?

I'm not a Cruze owner yet, GM Financial Services is quite slow here. Even after that I have to wait for delivery so thats about a month or so. It could be less though. We only get the Korean made Cruze, a mix between the LS and LT because we get the 1.8 litres engine with the 6sp A/T with leather, sunroof but no nav or upgraded audio systems. IIRC we only get 6 air bags, not 10. CHEVROLET VENEZUELA - Carros Camiones Camionetas 4x2 4x4 for more info. Its just one model and like 4-5 colors to choose from, if any. With the lack of new cars in the dealerships sometimes you have to take whatever is sitting there. I'm trying to stay away from the beige one, unless I tint my hair purple and start playing cards with the ladies! ;-) and the grey one is boring as said ladies. I wish I could get either black, silver or white.
