    Wink Driver Shift Control

Idk if anyone on here has gotten a chance to experiment with their DSC with the automatic transmission but i have and its a lot of fun. If you havent been able to yet, and dont know how to work it, please private message me and ill tell you or you can see them on youtube. I havent gotten them uploaded yet but i will and tell you what the title is that i give it so you can look it up. There isnt very good videos on there for this feature, so mine is very detailed to my knowledge so feel free to ask me anything pertaining to this feature on the cruze or anything else for that matter. Thanks everyone =] =]

Certainly means you can probably make decisions about when to change gears than the automatic in the Cruze can pick for itself. I don't understand how Chevy could make the Malibu's automatic work so well, and the Cruze's have absolutely no idea what to do.

The manumatic is a nice feature, but I've only seen it work well on VW's DSG transmissions where they change gear very quickly after your input. The Cruze has a huge lag before it even changes gear.

In my opinion, even the best automatic is just no match for the driving enjoyment you get from having a simple manual transmission with a clutch pedal. Unfortunately, very few Americans these days know how to drive a manual. My parents have tried teaching my 17-year-old brother a few times, but their Honda is not a good car to learn on because it's so touchy, and they've since stopped trying.

You probably aren't logged into the site when you're looking for the post new thread button. Check at the very top once logged in within a forum, and I bet you'll see it.

It's a nice feature but it's not the same experience as driving a manual so I rarely use it. I think I only use it to show people what it is and how it works.

Pretty much the only time I use DSC is to shift to 6th at 66kph (any slower and it says "Shift Denied!") ... My cruze wont shift automatically until ~70.

Most of the streets I drive on have a speed limit of 60 so if i dont, I would do all my driving at 1900RPM.
