So I thought this might be an interesting thing to post. I got a call from Chevy Customer Service asking me about my Cruze and the service history. The lady said she saw I had service recently and wanted to know how it went. She asked if I had service prior and what it was for. Then she asked if I had any issue currently for which I mention the notch in the steering wheel at highway speeds and the coolant smell. Everything prior has been really minor things and all covered under warranty but she said she is going to send me a $100 maintenance voucher for anything I want done not under warranty since I have gone in before. She told me if I ever have any issue that can't be resolved to call the customer service number and they would be more than happy to help out. She said they want me to be completely happy with my Cruze. Which I am currently besides the minor quarks here and there which every vehicle will have.
The interesting thing is I have never called the customer service number or complained about anything so it seemed like a legitimate check up call. I originally thought it was a call from the dealer but once we were in the call she said the maintenance voucher was good at any dealership.
Thought it was pretty neat and seemed (<yes I know that is a key word) that they really care.
Anyone else have a call like that?
