Dash cubby flaw?

Is my dash cubby (there must be a better word) flawed or is everyone else's a bit bent?

Not a flaw. My ECO has the same bend. I think it's part of the design concept that there be no flat surfaces or straight lines inside the Cruze's cockpit. It really made it hard to find a flat spot to mount my phone.

Or write the mileage/specs on a gas receipt!! So far the best place I've found it on the plastic just above the cruise controls.

Well it depends, can you fit anything in the gap (if there is one)?

That would have made for a perfect phone holder but instead of going down, it goes in. so the stick shift hits it. :\

I just noticed this the other day in my car. Definitely not supposed to be that way. It bends out which leaves a gap with the piece it's supposed to be flush with. I'm not going to take mine to the dealer for just this but if I have something else for them to look at I'll bring this up as well.

Mine is the same way too! Also noticed the other day that the silver bezel that goes around the fan knobs and around the shifter doesn't fit right, not sure if this is related.

Yea noticed this soon after I bought it, didn't really think much of it other than that's a good place for crap to get stuck in.
