    Unhappy Rear ended! :'(

I feel like November is the month for people to be hit.

I got re-ended today, but the car is in near perfect visual condition. My phone died after taking a few pictures, but the only thing that I can see currently is that my rear diffuser has a nice dent in it. The rest of the bumper is practically dent free (a few minor cuts and bruises on the car).

Goes to show how well these things can take a beating. It was a 2007 silverado, hit me hard enough to send my glasses flying to the floor. The truck that hit me however, now has a dangling front bumper, a headlight that has fallen out, and was much worse off than my cruze.

Guess I'll be going to the collision center tomorrow morning.. and hopefully it isn't too long of a fix. I've had too much of not having my car lately!

I'll upload photos once my phone comes back too life

Given the relative damage levels it makes me wonder how well the Silverado had been maintained. The headlight was probably already lose and the bumper on its last clip/screw. I'd be very concerned about the insurance of the driver who rear ended you.

    I'm glad you're ok.

Why is everyone's car being hit? This has happened not only here, but 3 Volvo's have been killed on my other forum.

    Glad you're OK man.

I read somewhere that there are more accidents the first couple of weeks after the end of Daylight Savings Time.

I read the same. A lot of collisions occured right after Northern Illinois north of Chicago got a dusting of snow recently. I just got my snow tires mounted to my steelies...

Hey glad you're ok! It really sucks that you got hit though. I hope you get your Cruze fixed soon and the bodyshop does a great job!
