The next time they call, tell them to stop calling you and that the next call will be reported to the FTC as a violation of the Do Not Call laws. Also, report them to GM Customer Service. If you looked there before you bought Penny, they can claim the two year exemption from the federal do not call list unless you explicitly tell them to stop calling. Also, post the obnoxious dealership's name here so other members in your area know not to deal with them.

Emails are no problem for me, can block any sender, Junk mail is no problem either, walk out of my garage door to get my mail, pass by my recycling bin on the way back in. But if a deal I don't want to pass up, will call, think over the last year, only called once. But given the restrictions, wasn't a very good deal after all, told that salesman, should be ashamed of himself.

Phone calls are not a problem either from any private concern, if a live person, can say I am not interested, if continued can report them for harassment. In particular if a prerecorded call.

Those dozen or more prerecorded calls a day from politicians were really a major problem, not a darn thing I could do about that. Also calls from so-called charities I never heard of, they get a taste of some of that language I learned from serving my country.

Have yet to receive a good deal from a pressuring salesperson. If I am looking for a good deal, have to search hard to find one.

Doesn't work that way. DNC only applies to companies with which the number's owner has no existing relationship, and this dealer worked on Penny's locker-room-smelling AC.

By the time you get the turbo d in USA it will be fully sorted (or GM is run by fools) because the series II engine has been around for a while and is reliable. Surely GM won't undo what has been achieved elsewhere?

If you ask them to stop calling, then they are required by law to stop calling even if you have a pre-exisiting business relationship.

Ha, you can play that game, call them ten times a day and ask them if they are having any $10,000 rebates.

...you're joking, right? Screwing up something good isn't a GM thing, it's every worldwide company, period.

    *sigh*

    1. I've only had Penny for 8 months.
    2. I'm therefore still severely upside-down.
    3. My credit is still trashed from medical bills, which went to collections 30 days post, immediately following her purchase.
    4. I have very little cash to put down because I've been topping the payments by 10% every month.
5a. I'm very happy with Penny and have no reason to trade her on anything else until the Eco-D finally hits the market.
5b. And I won't buy an Eco-D until its second model year.

Dealers, I get that you need to clear your '12 inventory. Shoving them out the door at the end of the year is not how to do it.
Try taking one of them up on the offers. They quiet down real fast. They are just throwing out general fishing lines. They have no idea what u own, what u owe or anything.
Hookers? Didn't know they do aftermarket header options ...............

If All Cars Have Two Headlights and sometimes two Fog lights, why don't at least Most Cars have two exhaust tips - even if just for the symmetry?
