    Fire At Lordstown Plant...

There was a small fire at the Cruze assembly plant the other day. No, they weren't changing the oil. but a contractor's welding torch set fire to something and injured four workers. The fire was contained and production was not materially affected.

Glad this was only a small fire and that the 4 workers are ok. Good job on containing the fire.

Might of set back our meet in three months as well, if it was really bad.

Nothing like having a contractor coming over to your home tracking mud all over your carpets. Then leaving a heck of mess to clean up afterwards at 90 bucks per hour. Would think trying to burn your home down would be too much to deal with.

Treated for smoke inhalation? Had a neighbor burning wood, garbage, plastics and even generating yellow and purple smoke. Nothing my neighbors nor I could do anything about it. Fire and health department said within limits. But after a couple of years, he finally killed himself, that solved that problem.

Not surprising it's a contractor. Aside from the actual assembly line workers/supervisors and some upper management at the plant, I think most of the remaining workers are contract workers working for other companies.
