Is it hard to install fog lights on a 2011 Cruze LS?

Hello, on my 2011 Cruze LS, I have black plactic covers where the fog lamps would be on other model Cruzes. I noticed there is a single screw showing on the black fog light covers and was wondering how hard it woudl be to remove those coversa and install fog lights. Would this be a wiring nightmare? Even if I couldn't get the fog lights to work, it would still be nice to have them for looks, but woudl prefer they actually work, of course. Thanks for any insight you may have.

the hardest thing about the install is probably the lack of space you have in a working enviroment. with the proper tools and instructions, it shouldnt be that hard. Having a good helper to hand you the parts + tools is also highly recommended

I did some research, and it appears you have to take teh whole front bumper off? That sounds daunting and a little concerning to me, despite teh fact I consider myself to be a handyman around cars as I've installed stereos before, change my own fluids in the car, etc. Not sure I'm too comfortable taking the front bumper off my brand new car, though!

Not sure if a lift is needed, but they didn't pull mine off to install them.

Who installed them for you? Was it expensive?

In Toronto i paid $120 for the 8000k H.I.D conversion kit including installation. Then for my headlights i got 6000k for $90 including installation. Good price because i know the guy so maybe a bit more for both sets of lights

i want to replace my fog lights with 8000k hid lights and i was wondering if you have to take off any bottom plastic peices at the bottom of the car. How do you know which pieces to take off in order to work behind the fog lights ...

    Look here: http://www.cruzetalk.com/forum/9-che...t-install.html

Or any of the other various posts about fog lights. You don't NEED to remove the fascia but it's tough to do if you don't.
