You can have fog lights installed by a dealer for $100?

I checked out approx. 10 chevy dealers for pricing on installing the fog kit and got different prices at every dealer - no surprise there - prices ranging from $91.00 all the way to $180+

I decided to stick w/my neighborhood dealer where I purchased my Cruze from and had it done for $104.00 (no tax since I provided the parts) and got it done in just under 3 hours.

Thanks for the great post, I'm sure many will appreciate and benefit from it.

Looks like the pictures came back. I still have the car, it only has 51K miles. Other than the hesitation issue (that is now solved), it's been a really good car.

I've done this to an 14 Eco manual but I just bought a 14 diesel. Does the wire go in the same spot in the fuse box? #48 15A

Anyone have issues with pulling the harness out when you get ready to put the fuse in the back. I'm trying to pull it out and I've popped all the clips but the three pieces in the back wont come out. The 9mm bolts are loose and all the clips are popped back. I can get it up about an inch .

    Any help is appreciated 15583726069898555226877146417111.jpg

Are the fog lights functioning on your CTD? I was able to install aftermarket fogs since the 2015 Cruze Diesel doesn't support them, however, I'm not receiving 12v on the line side, not sure if the wire is getting continuity with the fuse holder or the placement of my wire might be in the wrong spot.

    Welcome Aboard!

What fuse did you connect to? Do you have a meter? What kind of connector did you use. What switch are you using? ...

Great to be here, I connected it to fuse no. # 48. I also purchased a gm headlight switch that included the fog light feature, upon pressing said button the foglight symbol pops up on the dash. At first I stuck a wire under the #48 female block without the appropriate gm pin connector, as long as it makes contact with the fuse block it will have continuity. Unfortunately, I would never receive any voltage at the other side of the wire. After several attempts of inserting and reinserting the fuse block, assuming that it wasn't making enough contact with the fuse block side; I finally figured I should check the actual fuse itself to see if it was giving out voltage, unfortunately it was not. I'm here contemplating if I should wait for a fellow 2015 CTD follower who was successful in installing fog lights with the stock gm headlight swith, or just install an aftermarket switch, preferably drilled into the secondary fuse block cover door.

    Use a fuse tap

My fuse box looks a bit different, I attached a few more pictures for context. I'm debating whether or not I should wait for somebody who was successful in installing the fogs with the stock gm switch thru the BCM to show up and help, or just settle with a $25 loss on buying the switch and install an aftermarket one via relay + straight battery connection.
