As the title suggests, my 2014 Cruze leans extremely lower on the rear driver side than any other point in the car. I honestly cannot recall if my car had always been like that because I had never done anything special to it. Recently, I had new wheels installed so now I'm always eyeballing my...

Hi, Just changed the struts and rear shocks @ 61k miles. Put in Bilsteins. Stock replacements, no changes to ride height. The struts showed up about a month after ordering, rears were on 3 month back-order. Does the suspension need an alignment after doing this work? Car steers the same, is not...

2017 Cruze: Last night upon leaving the ATM I banged up on the curb of the atm lane on the passenger rear tire. After my rage of swearing i took a look and the tire was not too bad. I drove on the highway and really the alignment is good just a little drift left or right here and there but...

I do ride like a granny, most of the time, 65-75MPH on the freeway max, very little city traffic, and I've only taken it out once above 110MPH (just for testing) Is it normal for me to not have ever done an alignment? When they swapped out the tires, they didn't do an alignment either. They...
  5. Gen2 Wheels, Tires, Brakes, & Suspension
Hello all! I have a 2015 LT1 RS that has just passed 16k miles. I've had it into the dealer for every scheduled service on time. After this last tire rotation, I noticed that it had developed a pull to the right at speed. Well, it seems a bit early for an alignment issue but I figured I'd have...

Wheel Balancing issue Hi Friends, I have a 2012 Cruze 2LT with 124k miles on it. Recently I noticed that my steering wheel shakes a bit at 60 MPH. I got the wheel balancing done multiple times and the issue gets resolved temporarily but usually within 2 days the steering wheel starts to shake...

I just rotated my tires on my Chevy Cruze. I've done it every 6-7 thousand miles. I currently have 37,000 on the tires. They are wearing well except that the inside of all four tires are wearing faster. I've kept the tires inflated at 40-45 pounds most of those miles. Any thoughts? Should...

So today I went in to my local dealership to have a transmission flush performed. Upon arriving, right when I pulled into the service department entrance there was a wheel alignment checking machine literally right Infront of the service advisors desk. They were doing free complimentary...

Wassup guys, after a few miles of driving and allowing my suspension to settle its time for an alignment.I'm dropped on Ksports coilovers around an inch and a half in the front and 2 at the rear.My question to all the experts who've dropped their car is what to know before going to a shop to do...
  10. Gen1 Diesel Technical Discussion
Does anybody know if the alignment specs for the diesel are the same as the gas?  Mine has been chewing up tires and it's no doubt due to many potholes that I've hit. I am concerned that if I go to an alignment shop and they plug in "2014 Cruze" that it might not get done correctly.  Anybody know?

Recently I took my car to get an alignment at a tire shop. I noticed that the car was pulling left at any speed. After the alignment the car pulls left above 45mph. The tire shop sold me an alignment and said that both the front and back were out of alignment but it wasn't possible to adjust the...
  12. Gen1 Service Issues
I’m enjoying my 2014 Cruze. I’m curious what experience people have had with alignment. According to the Cruze owner manual, the Cruze is properly aligned at the factory and requires no adjustment unless you hit something. How true is that? I’ve read reports that a lot of cars are out of...
  13. Gen1 Brakes/Suspension Tutorials
Back Story I installed Eibach drop springs for Christmas (2013). I never really thought much about how it changed the alignment in the car. It still turned fine, tracked straight, etc. I knew I had introduced some negative camber too. But the real tire killer is excessive toe! When I...

I've been fighting with it for awhile, googled a lot but still cannot find solution to my problem. I have 2012 Cruze with 22K miles on it. I notice a left pull especially when driving in left lanes of highways. I read about left lanes being deliberately slanted to the left to let the water run...

Hey, everyone! I've had my '12 Cruze LS for about 1 1/2 months now, have about 2,400 miles on it, and, just recently discovered that, when I hold the steering wheel straight, I noticed the car will move to the right. The alignment on a new car should not be going to the right when the wheel is...

The Cruze is my first new car. So far it has exceeded even my expectations. How long should I wait until I go in for my first alignment/check? How often should I have it checked? In the past, it would usually be once a year-2 years for my used cars in the past. I rotate my tires regularly every...

I believe I have read within the forum that there is no ability to adjust the camber either front or rear on the Cruze from the factory, is this correct? I am assuming that there are only provisions for changing the front toe, and possibly the back toe only?
