Hello all. This may have been discussed in an earlier thread but, I couldn't find it. Can anyone explain how to remove the top lid portion of the center console/armrest so that I can replace the upholstery? Kind of nervous about moving the box due to the usb and aux. Thanks in advance!

Hello. My 2012 Chevy Cruze LS center armrest lid cover has worn down (sharp elbows) and I want to put a new leather cover on lid. But I don't see how to remove lid. Dealership says it was not designed to be removed. Has anyone found a way to remove armrest lid so can reupholster?

So, I recently posted out of slight frustration due to the fact that my A/C needs a desperate recharge, and I've just discovered my bumper-to-bumper coverage ended a couple weeks ago. My poor Cruze has decided to begin falling apart around me. It's like it knows! The reflective surface of my...

Hey everyone, I have been a proud cruze owner for 6 days now. HAHA. I really love everything about the car. Got it used, 33K miles for $13.5k and I couldn't be happier. I do have one major pet peeve though. I hate that **** armrest in the center not locking into the forward position. Honestly...

Allright so this is news to me im sure others are aware of this. While cleaning the interior of the cruze I managed to extend the armrest to my surprise. Apparently after engaging the lift and pulling forward the armrest extends a couple inchs! I swear after being in this car every single day...

Hi, Im sure this issue have been discussed, so I apologize, but when the armrest is slid ALL THE WAY forward, the parking bake lever should NOT touch the armrest if the braking brake is properly adjusted,, correct? Or is this just a design flaw? I stopped in a chevy dealer lot this morning...

Searched and got nothing but looking at the accessories link I saw something. It loos like the Camaro armrest was the same as ours. Meaning you can possibly get the ones that say RS and SS if they do fit. Unrelated but will the manual pedal set fit our car as well? Sent from

So I have had my cruze for over a year now and love the car. The only thing I can't stand is the armrest has anybody come up with something better yet. Don't like how short it is and doesn't lock when extended.

Has anyone noticed this? I can duplicate it by sitting in the car w/o it moving or being turned on. Put elbow on armrest like you normally would - then move your lower arm (from elbow to hand) up and down while keeping the elbow seated on the armrest. Mine squeaks considerably. And the...

Hey guys, so I know most of you probably don't listen to CD's anymore or let alone still bring them in the car as not to have additional stuff laying around in the seats but I have a question or two. Does anyone carry CD's in their Cruze? And if so, how many CD's (if at all) can fit in the...

Has anybody done anything to soften up or increase the padding on the Cruze armrest? As I approach my mid 40's I find my elbows are very sensitive. I get shooting pains up into my shoulders from the rock hard armrest on my '12 ECO MT. Are all the armrests the same for all models, or could it be...

I love my car so far, but.....WTF is up with the dwarf-sized center armrest? I'm forced to drive with my left hand only most of the time. I can't figure out a way to make it move, does it?
  13. Gen1 Powertrain
Hey everyone! I just picked up my Chevy Cruze ECO M/T yesterday and absolutely love it! One thing that is slightly irritating me is that the sliding armrest does not lock in the forward position, only in the back position. Has anyone been able to come up with a solution to lock the armrest...
