At the GM plant in Lordstown, Ohio, workers make only the Cruze compact sedan, which has suffered a 26.5 percent sales decline this year through September. The plant is running a little over 30 percent capacity, on one shift. One way to combat the last problem is to keep factories flexible in...

Manual says to fill with 4.25 quarts. However after draining the oil, changing the filter and putting in exactly 4.25 quarts, I'm slightly under-filled. So I added a little more and I'm better but still a bit under the max hashmarked area on the dipstick. I've read other threads regarding...

I've been seeing cars that won't hold above 180 psi on the high. You drain and measure the drain down. You end up with 75% of underhood label capacity. Create the vacuum. Using the underhood label for capacity. Recharge with a scale. A full charge clocks in at 240 - 275 psi on the high side...

So for my 2018 Premier RS everywhere I've looked it lists 13.7Gal or 52L as the capacity but I've never got more than 43L(roughly 11Gal) into the tank and that's pushing it after the pump has kicked out. That's with the gas light being on as well.

Hello, Got a tungsten metallic about a month ago. So far I have two full fill-ups, and am happy with the economy even with varying the RPM etc during the first few thousand miles. Are there higher temperature thermostats or higher capacity thermostats out there? I was thinking during the winter or for greater efficiency this might be an option?!
  9. Gen1 Diesel Technical Discussion
Was reading the service reminders at my dealers today....found this interesting. The diesel engine oil drain plug does not have to be removed to drain the has threads near the head, a gap about 1/4" wide with four holes, and then the threads restart......this if full removal is...

Does Owner's Manual list 1.8 Liter Oil Capacity Incorrectly? Any one on here with the 1.8 LS change their own oil? I have done so twice and both times if I use the amount of oil specified in the owner's manual, the dip stick would show an over fill situation. Today I put in only 4 quarts and...
