I installed an e-bay homelink rear-view mirror. I tapped into some power in the overhead console connector, and it works but it stays on all the time. Anyone have access to the wiring diagram for the overhead console, or can tell me if anything up there is switched power?

Hello. My 2012 Chevy Cruze LS center armrest lid cover has worn down (sharp elbows) and I want to put a new leather cover on lid. But I don't see how to remove lid. Dealership says it was not designed to be removed. Has anyone found a way to remove armrest lid so can reupholster?
