Just purchased a 2015 Cruze. I’ve noticed that sometimes when using key fob the horn beeps when locking dome light goes out. Others times it doesn’t beep but locks and dome light stays on? What would cause this issue?

The lock/unlock switch on the driver side door is no longer working. The system works including the remote fob, but not the button on the door. Dealer wants $110 to diagnose. Anyone fix/repair this themselves? Model year 2017; LT Thanks.
