  1. Gen1 1.4L Turbo
2014 1.4t AT. Stock. 72k miles. Ive read almost every single thread on here using the keyword "No Boost" but still dont think I found a similar situation. So the past 2 weeks I have found that when I hit the accelerate it is WAY under powered. I plugged in my ODB and using TorquePro I saw that...
  2. CruzeTalk New Member Introductions
I've had my 2018 Cruze LT for about 3 weeks now. LOVE IT! It's the new Cajun Red color that just came out! I am stopping at the dealer tomorrow because every time I turn on the fan the A/C Max automatically comes on even though the dial is on heat (red). Doesn't matter if I have the defrost...
  3. Gen2 Diesel General Discussion
I noticed a significant difference with the A/C Temperature through the vents between the Driver and Front Passenger Seat. The driver side temperature registered about 8-10° warmer than the passenger side with the air on Max. Is this normal?

I just put on some Cooper tires and have noticed a big drop already. Not sure how much yet. Need alignment yet. Curious how much of a drop others have had. Picked the set of Cooper's up for 50$ with a bit over 3/4 tread from the looks of them so I can't complain I saved about 400$. Also under...

Just noticed that there is a difference between the "standard" fuel max and, the GM TPC Fuel max. The Standard fuel max is almost two inches wider at the tread then the GM version. Maybe for even more MPG

Getting time to replace the 2014 Eco MT tires, a little over 36k miles. The cs3 say lower rolling resistance, but they do not make the claims Goodyear does. Wondering if anyone has tried the cs3 tires on their eco, and noticed effect on mpg. Thanks!
  7. Gen1 Diesel General Discussion
How much boost does this turbo make on the diesel? The Torque app on my phone\bluetooth OBD2 adapter shows 22.5 psi at WOT. Seems a little high to me.

First of all, mostly for the Eco drivers - Has anybody achieved near 100,000 miles on their original Goodyear Fuel Max tires? I'm on my original set and passing 87,000 miles. I'll see if I can get to 100,000 miles. I still have pretty decent tread (#boringdriver). Also, in anticipation of...

Greetings everyone, so if you have been following me I have been trying to build a spl audio system for the cruze. One thing thats standing in the way, the alternator. All I can say is thank goodness! After @ 1 month with a set of Goodyear Triple Treds on my Eco only bought for the weather we get in Cincinnati, I broke down and went back to the GY dealer and asked if I could trade the Triple Treds back in for a set of new Fuel Maxs. The car with the "TT"s...
  14. Gen1 1.4L Turbo
I was wondering if anyone has ever run across any data or information concerning the maximum power output of the 1.4L with the stock internals? I guess that would be the latest generation of family 0 ecotec 1.4L. I wonder if engineers took a production block and modified it, bigger turbo...
  15. Gen1 Wheels, Tires, Brakes, & Suspension
Looking at LRR tires and winter/wet handling traction. Thinking about going with Continental Pure Contacts. from what I read they are good in snow/wet and 70000 mile LRR tires. I can get them for @ 155 ea. Cincinnati has lots of hills and windy roads to contend with, where good traction is a...

Currently I have my 3rd set of oem goodyear fuel max tires equipped. My previous 2 sets were replaced at 85k miles with approximately 3/32 center and 4/32 outter grooves remaining. I tried to keep the cold tire pressure at 38 psi They had signs of inside shoulder wear. Before installing my...

Okay..I saw a thread on here while back and asked a question but did not get a response..so here I am asking again in my own thread. The eco models have a 12.6 gallon tank, all the others have a 15.6 gallon tank. I hear you can add 15.6 gallons in the eco tank which is only suppose to hold 12.6...
