2015 Cruze 1.4 with 95,000km on it. I have an internal oil leak (oil mixing with coolant but no coolant in engine oil) Right after this problem happened, the engine started taking longer to run and sometimes it cranks but doesn't start at all. This sounds to me like low compression but I dont...

I currently own a 2011 Cruze with the 1.8l 130,000miles. I noticed oil in the coolant reservoir and that my coolant lines were being eaten by this mixture. I changed the oil cooler gaskets, replaced any and all of the coolant lines, flushed multiply times and was running fine. There is no...

Hey everyone, I just replaced the oil cooler seals on my 2014 1.4T. I re-filled the the coolant by opening the bleeder at the top of the rad and filling the reservoir until it started to come out of the bleeder. Im also going to do an oil change. Just wondering if I have to prefill the turbo...

Hello, I have a 2013 LS 1.8 and I believe I have a leak coming from the o-ring on this part. Link To Part on Rock Auto. A few weeks I did the oil cooler gasket/ o-ring replacement. Now I have oil collecting on the body itself. There’s nothing above leaking that I can tell. Clean around valve cover. Small small amount of oil around oil fill cap. No evidence that it has ran and dripped down.

I recently did the dreaded oil cooler gasket replacement on my 2012 Cruze LT. 123,000 miles by the way. I have a clip left over. I don’t think it’s too important and don’t want to tear down again. I realize it’s a shot in the dark anyone maybe recognize it and where it might go? Thanks in advance
  8. Gen1 1.4L Turbo
New to the site, so hopefully I am doing this right! I have a 2012 1.4 Turbo with just over 104,xxx miles that is currently at the dealership getting the oil cooler and filter housing replaced for approximately $1500. The issue I am having is how I got here. Here is the basic story... I...

  10. Gen1 Powertrain
I had my 2012 Cruze LT (1.4 L) in for an oil change and inspection, an the customer service guy commented "I don't want to scare you, but you have signs of a transmission cooler leak that could cause a problem if it isn't corrected at some point". (The problem being that the fluid would leak...
