    did a search and wasnt successful finding out my question. i was wondering what the break in period for the 1lt motor is, and if i should stay under a specific rpm range. my subaru was a 1,100 mile break in and kept under 4500 rpm.

    I've topped off the tank only twice and typically warm up the car for 5-10 minutes. The avg high temperature has only been in the low 20's here since I've had the car (about a week). The drive is a mix hwy/city with the DIC showing around 40mph avg speed. Does this sound normal?

    Can someone please tell me what the actual break in period is for a Chevy Cruze?? The dealer told me when I bought my car (2 weeks ago) that there is no break in period on newer cars anymore, but there seems to be a conflict in discussion with this... Oh and also, the noob of a saleman also...

    When I test drive cars, I often put my foot on the gas pretty hard at least a couple times. I assume other test drivers are doing the same. Does this mess up the engine's break in period?
