When the car is between 35-42 MPH, there is a 'slight' hesitation to shift into 4th gear compared to other gears. Downshifting to stop lights/signs also causes some hesitation. See below for more information/backstory.
When was the last time you changed your trans fluid? You'll have to read through this to make sure it works on a 1.8 as I have forgotten whether or not the trans is the same for the 1.4
