I took my '13 Eco to the dealer for the first service at about 5K miles today. They told me there was a recall to reprogram the air bag module.

The RO says:

Reflashed SDM as per recall

Here's what it said when I Googled 12187:

My 2013 CRUZE was manufactured sometime during Dec 2012 - Jan 2013 timeframe. Since the NHTSA report date was September 2012, does that mean that vehicles, like mine, produced after September 2012 had the problem corrected in the assembly process?

Seems reasonable. FWIW mine was built in September and I bought it mid-October. Seems like the dealer should have done the update before delivery.

It depends on the specific module put in the car. We don't know how long the computers in these cars sit in the bin before being installed.
The recall extends to 2012 model years as well. I heard that there were some issues with suspension bolts as well; not sure what year or models are effected for the suspension.
Rest assured that if your car is affected by the recall, you will get a letter in the mail from GM.
Is there a place to look up all applicable recalls TSB's etc etc etc per our cars?
@DonnieZcruzE, if you visit www.mychevy.com and register the vehicle with our owner’s center, you’ll receive recall updates along with how to videos and downloadable manuals. This is free of charge.

In regards to obtaining TSB information; this type of documentation is for our technicians to help them get things resolved. It is up to the dealership if they want to provide this to their customers. Unfortunately, I’m not able to provide this type of information since we’re not technicians.
