Recently my driver seat is making a popping noise in the back middle when I sit in it. It sounds like a bar or rod is moving cause its loose/broken. Is it easy to remove the cover so I can look at it?
Anyone else have this noise?

First thing to do is check if your Bumper to Bumper is still active (3 years from first sale or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first).

Next, IIRC, there's a pocket on the back of the seat. Make sure there isn't something there causing the problem.

B2B is expired. The pouch is only on the passenger side.

I suspect a dealer would only replace a whole assembly. I think your best bet is to find a good car upholstery shop.

Keep in mind the seat has side air bags in it, so disconnect the battery before fooling around.
