After months of my Cruze suffering from needing a new valve cover (ruff idle and all the codes listed here) and a V2 fix kit, i finally got everything together and got it done, rplaced both the valve cover and added the V2 kit to my intake.
The difference is night and day in how my Cruze runs now.
However, in my reinstalling the manifold and securing everything i ended up with a small black hose with green strips hanging in the very rear of the manifold and i must have broken off the plastic nipple for a portion of it was still in the hose.
After extensive looking i was unable to find where it plugs into, so i trimmed it a bit, installed a screw to stop air loss and secured it..
My question is, does anyone know where this hose plugs into?
Since there are more than 1 black hoses with a green stripe i am adding a picture of the one i know is installed correctly. (Passenger side looking down just behind and below the fuel rail, this one is secured properly,. So it's the hose that is behind the intake and below, that i am unable to figure out.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
I think you may be talking about this: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-solenoid-valve-55587751

Reason I am guessing that is because I broke the plastic nipple off mine when installing the kit and had to go get a new one. Also, if this is what you broke, I don't think i'd be driving it, this tells the valve on the turbo when to release the pressure if i'm not mistaken.

Hey everyone, my Cruze threw P0171 last week. I looked into the intake manifold and sure enough, the orange check valve was missing. I replaced the intake, valve cover, and PCV hose, but now I'm getting a loud whistling from the new PCV/valve cover and a rough idle. Did I get a bad valve cover, or did I **** up something during the install?

Part numbers I got:
Valve cover: 25198877
Manifold: 25200449
PCV hose: 25193343
Is it coming from the valve cover? Does it stop if you put your finger over it?

If the PCV caused my oil pan to leak. Would fixing the PCV also fix the oil pan leak? Or is the oil pan gasket now damaged?
Mine was resealed after the fix kit was installed, if it were me I'd re seal it. The dealer used some silicone that is gray colored on mine as well as around the valve cover.

Hey guys, so I have a check engine light on a couple of days ago. Car runs good, still had it on this morning when I put some gas in it. Fired the car up and the engine light went out. So I go to work. I leave to go home and about halfway home the light returns. So I check for the nipple and I do see its still there, I check the diaphragm and I out my finger in front of it and it does nothing. No noise nothing. I pull out the dipstick and I can hear it sucking in air. I disconnected the maf sensor and just blew it out. I put everything back together and the started it up and no light. The code is p1011 that I am getting. Gonna drive it for a little bit but anything else I should check at? I did manage to lose a little plastic gasket when I disconnected the hose to look at the PC valve nipple am I gonna have issue with that?
Check out:

And also just cause the nipple is there doesn't mean it's working.

OP sorry to post in your thread.

XtremeRevolution, I'm trying to PM you and it won't let me send it? It keeps popping up this message;
"Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator."

Neither is true. I've used the contact link but just in case can you fix this and or shoot me a PM so I can ask you a question? Thanks and again, sorry OP!
Probably because you're a new account. @XtremeRevolution

No, it’s likely the camshaft position sensor seals.

I actually have ordered those already. But I'm not so sure that is the culprit either. They are cheap, and easy to do, so I will do them regardless. But for the amount of oil I am seeing, I would expect the area around the cam position sensors to show more oil residue. I will take a few pictures later today.
Sounds good. The side of my engine was covered when mine were bad.

Sure enough, it was stuck. Suggestions for safely unsticking it without breaking it? I believe this check valve is the final issue with my whistling saga.

I soaked mine in hot water and dawn dish soap for a bit then cleaned and blow it out. Seems to work ok.

OK, So i experienced the lost PCV valve issue, I've replaced the valve cover, intake, hose, and the front crankshaft seal. I am still getting the P0171 code!!!! What else could it be? the car runs much better after replacing everything but I still cant get it to not throw a code. Could it be a bad MAF sensor also? Is there a way to check that without the pricey diagnostic scanner?
There is no oil leaks, no more whistling(crankshaft seal), no rough idle, no loss of power, the car runs like when I bought it at 30K.

I don't know what else to do and I don't trust dealer or mechanics, they'll want to change it all again
PLEASE HELP! 2014 Cruze LT, 86K miles.
some tips here https://www.cruzetalk.com/threads/error-code-p0171.20785/

Just hope its not a crank seal because thats what just happened to me. Car didnt leak from the seal till after I put on a dorman valve cover then it blew my seal. Im having a gm cover put on this week and my mechanic said that the gm cover might stop the crank seal leak. Im having my doubts on that but well see. If it dosnt work then I guess ill be spending 700 $ for him to pull the motor to fix the seal. I also did the pcv v2 kit at the same time.
pull the motor? Huuuuuuh. I replaced my crankshaft seal in under an hour.

I'm gonna take vacuum from another side of the intake after the throttle body and put a check valve on the line, easy as a pie and much cheaper. You can ship them to romania but i need it now not in 4 weeks. If you look closely i already have a fitting on the intake after the throttle body for the LPG, already found on the junkyard T and Y fitting along rubber hoses and a few very good check valves aswell that fits like a charm
I wondered what those mess of tubes was, anyway, hope it works for ya.
