Hey everyone. I just signed up so I could share this information with you. My sister has a 2012 Cruze and has had a check engine light on for quite some time. I checked the codes and I think it was a po449 or po443. It’s been a while ago that I checked them so I don’t remember which one. But it was a code for the evap circuit. I did the normal internet search and ended up replacing the valve back by the tank. That didn’t help so I replaced the valve at the engine. Still didn’t help. I finally had time to check the wiring and found that the connector behind the passenger rear wheel well liner was badly corroded. Three of the terminals where corroded in half. I decided to eliminate the connector and splice the wires using waterproof shrink butt connectors. There are 12 wires in this conn. So if you’re having any electrical problems with components at the rear of the car you might check this connector. Hope this helps someone chasing a problem.
