2012 LS P0597 CEL. Still covered under powertrain?

I've done a bunch of searching on the forum and i see that im not the only one with this issue. I'm just wondering if fixing the P0597 code is still covered under GM's powertrain warranty? I currently have 88,000km on the car and have had it for about 3 years.

Unfortunately the dealership cant get me in until next friday (the 21st), so i have to wait another week and now the rad fan is going at 100mph as well, oye!
