I noticed oil spots on my drive way and thought it was from someone else's car, then I started smelling burning oil so I did a little investigating. Low and behold the front of my engine was covered in oil. It appeared to be leaking from the front and around to the left side from the top. I looked down and saw oil sprayed everywhere. Took it to the dealer and after not hearing anything for a day and a half I called to see what was going on. Of course he was "just getting ready to call me" which seems to happen alot here. He told me they found the leak and it was not only going to cost me $60 to diagnose the problem but another $250 to fix it. I said wait a minute, you're telling me this isn't covered under the power train warranty? He had to call me back to check and see if it was, which it was.
First, why am I paying $60 for them to figure out what the problem is on a car still under warranty?
Second, why wouldn't he check to see if it was covered under the warranty before he was "just getting ready to call me". They were just going to charge me $310 if I didn't question it? I'm about done with this car, with Chevrolet, and this dealership.
