Hello there,
Needing help with my Cruze please, I have a coolant leak to the right of the engine where all the hoses connect. It's the physical plastic piece, small crack. Wondering how do I fix this? I have the ability to do most on my own but just trying to see if it's at all doable without taking it in and paying 450 in labor.
110k miles
everything else is checked out completely fine

That piece is called the "water outlet". A $25 part; actually fairly common on these cars. While at it, a good time to flush the coolant, which has a rated 5 year/100K lifetime.

So, basically, coolant would need to be drained, a few hoses removed, and remove the water outlet, install the new one. Not too much stuff in the way, and not an overly hard DIY replacement. Unfortunately, I can't find a write-up here for it.

Burping/bleeding it may be the hard part of the process. GM and Ford cooling systems are typically annoying to get all the air bubbles out of.
