also there is no power to the acc outlet in the interior fuse box. the fuse was blown on acc power but replaced and still no power. fuses seem to be ok but not sure what to check for. any answers would be nice.

Silly question. You do know the outlets are not powered when the car is off, right?

Sorry, bad phrasing on my part. It's my way of warning people that I'm about to ask an obvious question and to not get offended by it.

If you're not getting power to the fuses, then that points to a bad relay on the interior fuse block. There's some other posts here on how to make the accessory power on all the time by jamming something into that relay. But first, I'd sure like to know what blew out the fuse and the relay. That sounds nasty.

Spilling something in the USB might affect the radio, it's not going to blow power port fuses. Where were you tying in power for the camera?

He has friends there. He trusts his friends more then an unknown Chevy dealer. If this is like many dealers, they also run a used car lot with many brands. This isn't really a Chevy-specific issue, so they should be fine with it.
