2014 1.6 sri z drl

Hi Guys,
I've been searching for the days and haven't found the answer/detail I need.

Just bought a new Sri z Cruze with the DRL option, needless to say I am disappointed as its using the Parker and low beam bulb. it's not the usual DRL setup with separate LED strip.

Has anyone come up with a solution to make this standard setup into a true DRL system or knows how to disable this feature yet retain the auto headlight functionality

There is a thread in this forum for the 1.6T and there lots of Australian guys who I am sure can help you find a solution. My suggestion would be to ask an auto electrician.
