A code P0420 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

Leaded fuel was used where unleaded was called for (unlikely)
A damaged or failed oxygen / O2 sensor
Downstream oxygen sensor (HO2S) wiring damaged or connected improperly
The engine coolant temperature sensor is not working properly
Damaged or leaking exhaust manifold / catalytic converter / muffler / exhaust pipe
Failed or underperforming catalytic converter (likely)
Retarded spark timing
The oxygen sensors in front and behind the converter are reporting too similar of readings
Leaking fuel injector or high fuel pressure
Cylinder misfire
Oil contamination

Potential causes P0236 to set are:

Vacuum supply
Pinched, collapsed or broken vacuum lines
Faulty control solenoid
Faulty PCM

DTC’s related to intake air temperature sensor (IAT), engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT), or 5 volt reference

Everything was good before the head issue everything came on after they fixed my car
Ok the new cat. should fix it. It may be worth considering changing your upper oxygen sensor while doing the cat. Especially if its over 100k miles.

Sorry to bother again I just put a new car and the upper 02 sensor and deleted the codes and everything is the same nothing ever changed any help or advise the shop I just went to wants me to replace the maf sensor the map sensor the barro sensor and the turbo but they are charging me 2100 that’s more than I even paid for the car any help would be appreciated
