2014 Chevy Cruze ECO - Needed to be jumped 4 times in not even two years

I bought my 2014 Chevy Cruze Eco brand new back in April 2014. Since then, I have had to jump it 4 times.

About 12 months after I bought my car, the battery died and my car started acting like it was possesed. The key was locked in the ignition, the wipers were going non-stop and spraying washer fluid everywhere, plus other crazy things. I finally found a good samaritan to jump my car and it acted fine but I took it to the dealer and had them look at it and service it. They replaced my battery and blamed the "hot Arizona summer heat" and sent me on my way. The car had maybe 6000 miles on it. Since then I have had to jump it 3 times (September, December, and January) with the key getting locked in the ignition each time and now the check engine light on. Pretty much, if my car sits for longer then 3 days, I'm worried that its going to start and it's a brand new car with now 12K miles!

Has anybody had this problem before? I took it to the dealer to have it fixed and serviced but I am worried they are just going to put a new battery in and send me on my way again even though I keep telling them something is not right with the car. I am trying to get everything documented under warranty so that I have a paper trail showing that I am bringing this to the dealers attention but I have yet to get a clear idea of what is wrong with my car. I think something is draining the battery when it is left for a couple days.

Is there anything that I should look out for when I get my car back from the dealer or make sure the dealer does/checks? I want to get this fixed under warranty? Please let me know if anybody else has had this problem and what you did to fix it. I am starting to get frustrated with the dealer at this point. It's a brand new car for goodness sake! I shouldn't be worried if my car is going to start on Monday if I let it sit for the weekend! I have no reliability! Its raining in Phoenix right now and pretty cold so I am even worried if my loaner cruze they gave me is going to start because I don't trust it right now. Ok, rant over.

Any help/advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated! I really don't want to get taken advantage of because my Chevy dealer decides to be lazy.

Having the same issue with my 2014 LTZ, i had it jumped once last week, died on my this week as well, so i popped the hood to check it out, its a wiring issues definitely. All i did was wiggle the negative (black) wire leading to the battery and the car lit right back up, drove home no issues, it seems to be an ez fix but annoying if i gotta do this every week. Plan to take it to shop on tuesday, but hope this advice helps in meantime.
