I just bought a used 2014 Chevy Cruze LT 1.8L with Automatic transmission. This car was driven 104,000 km in Ontario, including on Toronto's highways and some small towns.
When I turn on the engine and drive the car for about 10-20 metres, it makes a noticeable rattling noise. This sound immediately goes away and never comes back throughout the rest of my journey(including stop and go). The only way to reproduce this problem is to turn off the engine, turn it back on, and then drive for 10-20 metres again. My dad's 2007 Chevy Aveo had a similar problem, and he said it was a problem with some suspension bolts. My friend had a similar problem with his 2013 Hyundai Elantra, and he says it's a problem with front links.
What could be the problem? Should I replace my front links, or can this problem be solved by tightening the bolt?
