I have a 2014 automatic 1.4 cruze.
Ive been using the manual mode alot mostly in town to get better fuel economy and better performance.
Ive notice if Im driving in manual mode on the highway i loss power after 40 MPH in 6th gear.
Is that normal? I also have a BRN tune.

Very normal, when in high gears the car doesn't have "get up and go", when cruzing in automatic and you punch the gas, the car will drop from 6th to 3rd or 4th to get the power it needs to accel quickly, depending on what speed you were going when you punched it.
So to get more push from my car i just need to down shift before accelerating? or is manual mode not suggested on highway?
Thanks for the reply
BTW I have the same color body on my cruze asyou. know a good paint for small chips?

Yes you'll just need to downshift (within safe range) if there's little to no power in your current gear. Experiment with it, I don't think it'll allow you to shift down too far to where the RPMs would be too high for the engine to handle, it'll say "shift denied".

I'd try 1 downshift to see if that gets you where you're back in the power band, if not then give it 1 more downshift.
