2014 Cruze DEF Quality poor light

I have the DEF quality poor light again after 4 years with no issues. Over 4 years ago the car was in dealership more than on the road and they threw parts at it and had no answers. I replaced the computer as an end result and it fixed it has been great until now. It came on a couple weeks ago and went off on its own. Now it’s into the 55 mph top speed. It doesn’t have a check engine light on which I would think if a sensor was bad it would. Also noticed my radio will just go black then come back on doesn’t do it often though. Also at times again rarely it will downshift hard. I’m thinking computer again but and ideas or suggestions would be great.

Hard downshift a sign that the engine is in regen.

Having the radio occasionally reboot itself is something I’ve witnessed a few times. No idea the cause.

DEF poor quality almost never poor quality DEF. Usually something upstream. Like a blocked DEF injector. Or downstream with a tired sensor.

How many miles on your odometer?
I have almost 295,000. I removed the def injector today and it looked extremely clean no build up at all.
It’s at the dreaded dealer now depending on what they say it may get put on a diet. Anyone have any info on this?
Related question ... does it still have the original DPF?
Yes it’s original. Dealer said DEF pump was bad and quoted 1,300 to replace. I brought it home and I’m going to replace it myself and home within a few miles the message goes away.
Well I went out to look at my car to see how hard the DEF pumps are to replace and look what I found. Anyone seen this before?

I just took mine off and took literally 10 minutes. Just by looking at yours I’d say maybe one of the o rings on the bottom are leaking.

I see the OEM pump is about $260. It's crazy they wanted over a grand for this job. Total rip off.

Can you take a picture of what the bottom looks like where the orings are?

Especially considering that the labor on it probably isn't more than an hour or two - even at the ~$220 an hour it is currently at dealerships, you're not even close. That's gross.
