Welcome Aboard!:welcome

I think a few have tried with no luck. Document what you do to help others achieve nirvana
Congrats on the '14 Cruze! Get a good mount for your cell phone and use Google Maps on the phone.
Congrats on the '14 LT. Same as mine. It's a good year for a Cruze.

You can't get the maps to display on the My Link screen. But, the turn by turn directions should play through the speakers if you are connected with Bluetooth. Put the phone in a holder so you can see the maps. I have the Scosche Magic Mount. I have it mounted on the black plastic next to the hazard switch.
The old mylink units do not support Android Auto. It's a relatively recent thing and is only supported by 16.5+ Cruzes and has just made its way to most 2016+ cars in the market.

Welcome to the forum! The 2014 model year is definitely a ripe year. GM had all the "new model year kinks" worked out by then. There are drastically fewer complaints for the 2014 and 2015 first gen models. I have the basic radio, so I can't help with that.
