I need to pull the sill/kick plate up to see if the airbag connector under the passenger leg airbag has disconnected, but I don't want to just start yanking. From the pictures I've see it appears that the fasteners go straight down, so I should just pull straight up on the piece.

Can anyone confirm this before I start yanking and possibly breaking fasteners?

Thanks!

I would like to know how to do this as well.
A video would be extremely helpful.
I've heard that the wire connector can come loose causing the passenger Aig Bag light to act weird.
Or possibly dis-able the Air Bag.
Any help would be appreciated.

I did this today and it does in fact pull straight up from the horizontal piece and straight back from the vertical piece.

So ....lift up by the rocker panel and then push it towards the front of car ???
Not sure what you mean by "straight back".

Thanks in advance !

The piece that is horizontal to the ground pulls up. The piece that is curved up towards the glove box pulls away from the glovebox.
