I've been having this issue off and on for about 9 months now. Periodically at a low RPM the car will lurch constantly whenever the engine is at a low RPM. This will continue until I drive the car in a low gear at a high RPM for a short amount of time (10 mins). The lurching then pops up about a week later. Recently, P11DC has popped up but my understanding is that code is related to the emissions system not the performance of the car. Does anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this lurching and why putting the car in a low gear seems to temporarily fix it?

Mine's manual, what I notice is a tendency to hunt up and down more when on cruise. I presume that when that sort of thing happens with an auto it would lurch.

How the car handles a regen coasting/idle is different than how it handles it when the engine needs power.

The lurch is just the transition between those two. It just takes a second.
