2015 LED color match

For those who have a 2015, we have nice LED DRLs now and i like them, but i dont like that they are not the same color/temperature as the headlights.

Anyone was able to color match his headlights exactly to the LEDs?

They look like they are 5000k?

If anyone did that, plz post a pic and the infos necesary, thx!

The OEM led drls use the very popular Philips Luxeon Rebel 6000k chips.

A good color match would be a pair of H13 led headlights that use the Philips Luxeon MZ chips. Since both are from the same family, both will look nearly identical in the same color temp.

The problem is this - are you willing to sacrifice lighting performance just to match your drls? Because that's what you'll be doing.

I took them out because I really missed the distance and width from the halogens. The leds gave too much foreground and some glare. Don't even ask about the craptastic high beam. Really disappointed since the color was exactly what I wanted.
