I've own my 2016 chevy cruze lt since January. It has started to have trouble stalling or trying to stall when driving in 1st or backing up any idea what would cause this problem and how to fix it?
My car stalled twice. once while sitting at a stop light, the auto stop kicked in, I let the brake go, engine fired up and before I could step on the gas the car lunged forward and died. The same thing happened once in reverse. Both times after restarting, the car drove just fine for the remainder of the trip. It is a 2018 9sp diesel and has 14k miles on it. I just took it to the dealership for service and I explained the situation to them. They scanned it for codes and they found nothing. They have not heard of this problem before.
