Hello my name is Edith just bought a new chevy cruze 1 month ago and took it in the dealer 3 days later because of loud braking clucking noises while braking driving slow and backing up. 3 different chevy dealers say they hear it but have no idea what it could be, they changed new struts and noise is still there louder every time and now GM says its "normal" characteristic of cruze how can a loud noise be normal on a new car? I fear of driving it when you have the "experts" saying " we have no idea what it is" they tell me its safe to drive but how can I trust them if they dont know what it is. Please anybody with this problem HELP

Is this a Cruze Limited or a 2nd generation Cruze? Also, which trim - different trims have different brake systems.

Hey buddy....
I too have a 2016 cruze, at 1300 miles on it. I had to bring it to the dealer for a major oil leak....That turned out to be a bad oil pan. However...i too now have a clunking sound in the front end. sounds like its coming from the right side. when i back up, turn the wheels while sitting still, and driving my daughter says she can feel it in the floor.
I guess its time to take it back to the dealer. But from what you say it sounds like they will tell me the same thing. I would like to hear if you find anything else out. I too will let you know if i hear something.
Thank you, Frank Drake

Kinda sounds like what I've been experiencing as of late with my 2015 LTZ that only 6,700 miles. Some members have pointed to it possibly being the end links, half axle, or CV joints.

I'm aware it's an old thread, but an answer was never posted and I was hoping to get one.... Not sure what the video is about....

Just hoping for an idea of what to check on mine from someone who had the same problem and had it fixed.
