Which is a better buy a 2016 Cruze Limited LT(X Rental Car) with 35k miles for 11,700 or a 2014 Cruze LT(off lease) with 13k miles for 12,500?

There might still be some factory warranty left (time being a factor) in the '14. Previous rentals aren't all that bad but that one is soon out of warranty.

I'd work the '14 to 12k or less.

The only difference between the purchases is that I can get the 2016 Ex rental from a local dealer and the 2014 is listed on Carvana. The only drawback with Carvana is that you can't really test drive the vehicle but they do give you a 7 day return policy no questions asked. The 2014 does show 2 months left in GM Warranty.

Keep in mind.... the Cruze in the rental world (Avis?) is going to be their B)$&@ car. So it's probably been more abused than the average rental.
