I’m still trying to fix daughters flickering DRL , has halogen headlights.
Found a bad connector I think, the DRL’s seem very, very bright.
I can jiggle left headlight jack and left DRL dims and no flickering, but right still very bright and flickers.
Again only running car no flickering with car off. Should DRL be super bright.
Thoughts
Thanks

Ok so the DRL’s I think should be dimmer and no flickering.
I started to pull right headlight jack apart tiny bit and got the right side to dim down and not flicker. But too much I lose connection.
Seems to me too much voltage to DRL causes too bright and flickering.

Its a Gen 2, base line model, with strip in Headlight assembly.
What I thought was a bad connector, took to a shop and they pulled apart ran a 12v box to DRL only and they were bright and flickered.
So it must be a bad wire within the harness buried in car or the BCM.
I will not take to dealer they are scams, and since rebuilt title- I don't wanna hear them tell me they cant touch it.
Worst case is I disable the DRL, heck I turn them off anyways cause the flicker.
Thanks
Wish there was a simple solution for my daughters car.
