Try separating the connectors and spraying contact cleaner in both sides. after they are dry, put a dab of dielectric grease on one side and reconnect.
On my 2014 anyway, the DRLs are the headlights. The power is a modulated output that dims the headlights to about half power I think. It is interconnected to the daylight sensor among other things. I would assume the power for the separate DRLs would be the same.
